"While there is no cap on capacity for places of worship during regular worship services, with at least 2 metres distancing or appropriate barriers between members of different households(with the exception of cohort families), faith leaders are encouraged to apply voluntary capacity limits of 15 % of fire code occupancy, as appropriate to reduce transmission of COVID-19. All other services, events, and activities (e.g., weddings, funerals, meetings, youth groups, etc.), are subject to the relevant capacity limits, found in the Gathering restrictions section of the Alberta.ca website."

Dear Family of Ambleside Baptist Church

COVID-19 has changed the course of our daily lives.  We know our God is sovereign and He knows what is affecting our lives.  So let us not fall into unwarranted worries or fears.  At the same time, we are all aware of the danger of false confidence in exposing ourselves to the situations that encourage the spread of the virus.  So if you are experiencing cold like symptoms, please pay utmost caution to voluntary isolate yourself from others as prescribes by the health guidelines.

    https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19.html

Today, Mar., 15, Alberta Government announced the closure of all schools and day care facilities to prevent a spread of virus.  We have a few families who have small children.  Let us remember them in our prayers and seek out, in any ways, we can help them, by calling them how they are doing or extending the hand of help.  Though we cannot meet at one place but using this time “to stimulate one another to love and good deeds.” (Heb. 10: 24)

Should you have any concerns and questions, please call me 780- 437-5403 (leave a message, I will get back to you as soon as possible) or contact one of the deacons.

We are a family of God, let us wrestle together for His glory.
